Hey, this is J Plays, and we’re back with another progress update video!

But before I get into the overall update, let’s cover some quick bits. Feel free to jump ahead with the video chapters if you just want to get straight to the Progress Update.

So in terms of Discord I wanted to share some updates:

On the Discord Promo channel, we have had some great mentions of videos from:

• jamn4evr who did a great video on what was his biggest mistakes - which is a great video to watch to avoid potential similar mistakes yourself!
• Then there’s Greeny who did a great video on the bugs and unclear mechanics in the game. Including how wave skips are seeded in the game!
  • As a result of his video it also brough the idea to keep an up-to-date summary of these things on the knowledge hub, so a page has been created there specifically for such topics - and ofc with a link to Greeny’s original video there too.
• Anorna has shared a progress update video, and the same with Tequila Man.
• Dr Trashbag shared his update and Legend Tournament Stream
• Celestoria shared a Tower song called Guardian of the Pond.
• Be sure to check those videos out!

And back to Greeny’s video, his results also made some of us think whether there are other game mechanics that are also seeded - and the likely answer to that is yes. First of all as there is no such thing as true random within programming, but also as the devs likely want to ensure equal playing field for all.

• Personally I wanted t test if Death Defy (DD) was seeded.
• I did 6 runs for testing. Respecced, removed Cards, removed Modules, turned off Ultimate Weapons etc. to remove as many RNG factors as possible and to try to DD on same waves each time. Had zero levels in workshop stats except for knockback, attack speed, multishot, rapid fire to be juggle the normal enemies so that I could limit DD to bosses.
• And my initial results showed that DD was not in any specific order. E.g., sometimes ES would trigger first, sometimes not and not any pattern emerging in terms of "X" hits.
