Events are an integral part of The Tower gameplay. Each event lasts for two weeks and is immediately replaced with a new event. In the event, you are faced with various missions that earn you Medals, and with various upgrades you can spend these medals on.
Medals are a significantly rare resource, and if you are early-game, the event missions can be challenging, especially before you've unlocked five labs and gotten more Ultimate Weapons (UWs) and Cards, as many missions rely heavily on having such. However, while UW missions exist, the Unlock Random Ultimate Weapon Perk make these more doable. For tips on specific missions, see Tips on Specific Event Missions further below in this guide.
All event missions have 3 tiers to complete. Each tier will have a higher requirement and provide an increasing amount of medals. There are 7 missions unlocked on the first day with 2 missions added every day for the next 7 days. Missions will remain until the end of the event.
Now let’s get into the overall recommended approach to medal spending. Keep in mind, that you, of course, can do whatever you like yourself and don’t have to follow these suggestions religiously.
1. Stone Sets
Investing in one or two sets of stones with medals early on in the game provides a substantial boost. Consider a third set during your first few events. The reason we are limiting our stone sets for medals is because of the increased medal cost.
2. Theme and Skin Acquisition
Limited-time Themes (backgrounds and skins) are highly recommended purchases. Their permanent coin bonuses add up over time. Aim to acquire both during each event.
3. Relics
Relics are passive buffs to increase your tower’s abilities and are acquired through two ways in events:

PS! Relics that have been available in previous events can re-appear at a future event. There is, however, no set specified schedule for this. See Event Timeline for a full list of previous events and relics.

4. Bots and Bots Priorities
For Bots, you primarily want to focus solely on the Golden Bot for a long while until your range and bonus are essentially maxed. Start first by prioritizing its range. Starting out, with little to no Medals invested, the Golden Bot will be weak and have little significance. However, over time, you will see a solid impact on your coin income - and especially so if you are able to have full or partial Sync with your econ Ultimate Weapons.
