My personal Discord server where I seek to supplement the official Discord with information, features and more that is not available on the official server - including integration with the Knowledge Hub.

Importantly, this server does not seek to imitate or replicate the The Tower - Official Discord server for the game. That one is great in many ways and has a large community of helpful individuals and contains more than 80,000 members. However, some of its strengths also arguably lead to some weaknesses, such as the fast-paced communication, the challenge to organise information neatly, the bureaucracy and limitations that come with the game developers being the owner of the server, and so on.

As a result, I simply aspire for my Discord server to be a nice supplement where:

• Guilds can have their private Discord channels
• Game resources are neatly organised
• A Discord bot integrates with this Knowledge Hub website (you can read more about this here: The Knowledge Hub Discord Bot)
• Additional fun features and integrations
• Giveaways are hosted
• We crowdsource various Tower information, such as Battle Conditions & Heat Info by Tournament Wave Count (also see: Crowdsourcing Tower Data).
• And where we are simply flexible to take the server in any direction the community within it wants to take it.

Main text channels:

• 🤖┃knowledge-hub-bot: Channel for bot inquiries and easily pulling pages and resources from the Knowledge Hub (also see The Knowledge Hub Discord Bot)
• 🗼┃feedback-and-advice: Channel with threaded posts for more detailed build feedback and advice.
• 💡┃suggestions: A channel for anyone to give feedback and suggestions about anything related to Discord, YouTube or the Knowledge Hub.
• 🏆┃tournament-stuff: Channel for BC’s, good/bad brackets sharing, Discord server leaderboards, and various tournament shortcuts.
• 🦜┃off-topic-chat: A channel for chats about non-Tower stuff!
• 🏆┃show-off-achievements: A nice channel for people to celebrate their achievements in the game.
• 🎁┃giveaways: Channel for announcing stone pack giveaways and winners.
• 🎨┃compiled-resources: A compilation of some core resources related to the game, and where I share an update log for the Knowledge Hub.
• 🤳┃promote-your-stuff: Channel for anyone to promote their own content.
• 📢┃developer-announcements: A channel that fetches the real-time official developer announcements.
• 🤣┃memes: A channel for fun Tower memes.
• and more.

Voice channels:

• 🎤┃Public Lobby: The main lobby for anyone who wants to chat or stream their gameplay.
• 🎤┃Public Duo: A voice channel with maximum 2 members simultaneously. This is so that anyone who wants to chat or share their gameplay or whatever, but are uncomfortable doing it publicly, can do so 1-on-1.

Additional “Opt-in” channels:

• 🤝┃looking-for-group-and-members: A channel for people looking for guilds or members.
• 🎬┃youtube-feed: An optional feed for notifications about new YouTube content published by the various content creators on the server.
• 🗣┃announcements: An optional opt-in for Discord and major announcements. I don’t want to spam all with “@everyone” and thus users have to instead opt in for announcements.
• and more.

Other channels:

• Various (10+) different private guild channels, including the guilds: Casual Hardcore, Vega Prime, Purple Reign, The Witch Hunters, Mystic Shadows, Dune, The Cantina, Smoke or Clouds, and more.
• And a host of additional channels for those with YouTube Membership Access.
