The Least Common Multiple (LCM) is a term used in various ways in the game to refer to optimal setups for various cooldowns and sync considerations, such as Black Hole with Golden Tower, your Golden Bot in relation to Multiverse Nexus sync time, and in relation to desired GT+ duration when farming with a sync strategy. For the latter, see also Guide to Golden Combo (GT+) Duration. And for various examples, see 💡 Related Tips below.
The math:
Example consideration for having GT+ for MVN Sync strategy: You want a higher LCM value = more unique starting points.
If Golden Tower Duration of 59s and MVN sync time of 58s, this equals = LCM 3,422. By dividing LCM by the GT Duration, we get how many unique GT+ activations that occurs. Unique starting points: 3,422/59= 58 unique points.
If Golden Tower Duration of 60s and MVN sync time of 58s, this equals = LCM 1,740. Unique starting points 1,740/60=29. This makes sense as with a Golden Tower Duration that is offset by 2 seconds, it will repeat after 29 occurrences.
If Golden Tower Duration of 61s and MVN sync time of 58s, this equals an LCM of 3,538. Unique points 3,538/61 = 58 unique points.
So, from reading the above, if you are having GT+ and are running a sync strategy, in the example above it would be better to stay at 59s GT Duration (instead of 60s GT Duration) and only do the upgrade once you can jump two levels immediately to get to 61s GT Duration.
Example Golden Bot and BH, GT, DW sync: You want a low LCM value = which specifies the duration taken for the respective things included to occur at the same time.
