Many visit the Knowledge Hub via mobile devices. However, navigating the site on a mobile device (compared to tablet/PC/Mac) comes with some challenges and unique navigation that are worth being aware of.

Searching the Website on Mobile Device

On mobile devices, you do not have access to keyboard shortcuts for search, such as the “Ctrl+P” shortcut. But here is how you instead can access and utilize search (toggle to expand with image examples):

• 1. Click the hamburger icon in the top right corner (3 lines), which gives you access to the header menu.
• 2. Click the “Search” menu item.
• 3. Search for whatever term you are looking for!
• 4. Filter by “Title only” for better results
• Optional: “Sort by” (defaults to “Best matches”)

Using Breadcrumbs (moving up page hierarchy)

Navigating so-called “breadcrumbs” on mobile devices is less clear and explicit than it is on desktop.

Selecting other preset views of databases

• By clicking the drop-down toggle on top of a database, you can select from various preset filters created for you.

Filtering a database

Filtering a database can be a powerful feature, where you can fiddle with desired filters of any kind to see desired results of a large database, such as the Collection of Tips database or similar.
