As a result, you have to look elsewhere for information, including connecting with communities on The Tower - Reddit and/or The Tower - Official Discord, reading on the Tower Fandom Wiki, and more. And on the topic of connecting to a community, there’s also essentially a whole new language of Abbreviations that you have to get on top of, and a huge amount of new game Glossary. It can quickly become overwhelming.

Starting Out - The Important Bits

Starting out with the game, you want to familiarize yourself with some key things:

• Turtle Strategy (early game) - in terms of gameplay, this is widely considered the most efficient early game strategy for progression. And thereafter you will transition to Blender Strategy (early game).
• Guide to Gems & Gem Spending - it is also important to get an understanding on how to earn gems and spend these efficiently. Particularly for unlocking lab slots early on, and for cards and modules.
• Guide to Improving Coin Income - earning Coins is also vital to progression, so you want to make sure you have an understanding of what that entails.
• Guide on Ultimate Weapon Unlock Order - and very crucially, you want to make sure you understand how Ultimate Weapons work, and their recommended unlock order. This can have massive consequences on your progression. So you want to pick the best options available.
• Connect with a community - starting out you’ll likely have lots of questions. And we have all been there. Luckily, the community is very supportive in answering all kinds of questions. So consider interacting on The Tower - Reddit or The Tower - Official Discord. You are also more than welcome to joinJ Plays’ Discord.

Starting Out - The Good-To-Know Bits

• Guide to Using Emulators (play the game on PC/Mac) - for many, including myself, it is not feasible to run the game 24/7 on a phone. As a result, many of us use emulators so that the game can be run on PC/Mac non-stop.
• Guide to Events & Missions - Events and event missions can be quite tough when you’re starting out, but they will get better and a lot easier with time. This guide just seeks to introduce events and offer insights and tips to earning as much event currency as possible.
• Guide on Tower Resources & Tools to Boost Your Progression - once you have gotten the hang of the core aspects of the game, you then can find great value in a lot of additional tools and resources created by the community.
• Orb Devo Guide for Increased Coin Gain & Progression - once you have earned around ~50 billion Life Time Coins, you can consider moving away from your Blender strategy to a Devo strategy. A strategy such as Orb Devo will net you a lot more coins and will progress you faster.
